Experience & Activities

Dr. Abbas Ostadtaghizadeh is a MD,MPH, PhD, and full professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) with over two decades of professional experience in disaster risk reduction, public health emergencies, and climate change and health.

He currently serves as the Head of the Climate Change and Health Research Center, Head of Department of Health in Emergencies and Disasters, and the Secretariat of Health and Food Security at TUMS. He is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Iran and a the secretariat of the Iranian Public Health Association, and chief editor of Climate Health Journal.
