Experience & Activities

Ann Nakafeero is an expert in Biodiversity and ecosystem restoration with more than 15 years’ experience of conserving nature and oversees biodiversity conservation, ecosystem protection, and environmental impact assessments at Government of Uganda body National Environment Management Authority(NEMA) in addition to serving as Uganda’s National Focal Point for the Minamata Convention on Mercury and coordinates with local governments, research groups, and conservation partners on wetland restoration and sustainable development projects.
