Anthony Wolimbwa is a seasoned Ugandan climate change advocate and environmental policy specialist and serves as the National Coordinator for the Climate Action Network Uganda (CAN-U) since March 2022 (after previously working as a Technical Advisor and Capacity Development Manager).

He represents civil society on the National Designated Authority (hosted by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development) and the National Climate Change Advisory Committee (hosted by the Ministry of Water and Environment).He campaigns for pro-poor, sustainable environmental and climate policies, focusing heavily on national forest policies, wetland conservation, oil and gas impacts, and climate justice.
