Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Regulations, Compliance Audits & Workplace Standards Training

Course Overview

Institutions and Organizations want safety results they can prove: fewer incidents, audit-ready documentation, and compliance with ISO 45001 and OSHA standards. Yet scattered knowledge leads to inconsistent hazard identification, weak risk assessments, and reactive incident responses. You need to demonstrate five domain-specific capabilities: conducting job hazard analyses, applying the hierarchy of controls, implementing ISO 45001 clauses, executing root cause analysis with fishbone diagrams, and calculating LTIR/DART metrics using digital dashboards.

Industrialization, large-scale civil works, and processing facilities face stringent statutory safety mandates and regular inspections by labor authorities. Non-compliance generates severe civil liabilities, prohibitive statutory fines, operational shutdowns, and brand erosion.

This course turns fragmented safety knowledge into a structured management system. You will practice hands-on: conducting Job Safety Analyses with standardized templates, building ISO 45001-aligned frameworks, running incident investigations with OSHA forms, designing emergency procedures, and creating safety dashboards with real-time monitoring tools. You will be introduced to NFPA emergency standards, OSHA 1910.38 requirements, and AI-driven incident monitoring at an overview level. What you will learn: how to identify hazards, assess risks, implement ISO 45001 systems, investigate incidents, and report safety performance using evidence-based metrics. Real constraints in safety management include budget limits, complex regulatory layers, technology adoption gaps, and competing operational priorities. This course is designed for professionals who must deliver measurable safety outcomes under these conditions, using practical tools, checklists, and scenarios you can implement immediately.

This course equips you to plan, execute, and measure occupational safety and health (OSH) initiatives that reduce incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen organizational safety culture.

  • Understand OHS principles and the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy workplace
  • Identify and assess workplace hazards to minimize risks and prevent accidents
  • Implement effective emergency response plans and procedures, including first aid and fire safety
  • Promote safety awareness and foster a positive safety culture within the organization
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and legal standards
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately and ensure proper maintenance and training for its use
  • Develop an OHS action plan to continuously improve workplace safety and health practices

This course is designed for professionals who must translate OSH regulations into actionable safety systems and measurable compliance outcomes;

  • HSE Officer: conduct daily hazard assessments and risk audits
  • Health and Safety Manager: implement ISO 45001 systems and lead internal audits
  • Compliance Coordinator: navigate OSHA requirements and prepare audit documentation
  • Operations Supervisor: enforce Hierarchy of Controls and monitor workplace hazards
  • Facility Leader: oversee emergency response planning and safety culture initiatives
  • Risk Analyst: calculate LTIR/DART metrics and build safety performance dashboards
  • EHS Specialist: conduct Job Hazard Analyses and document corrective actions
  • Training Coordinator: develop safety training programs using adult learning principles
  • Contractor Safety Representative: manage stakeholder compliance and inspection readiness
  • Quality & Safety Auditor: execute compliance checklists and verify corrective action effectiveness

When you lead OSH with credible data and practical strategies, you strengthen your ability to deliver incident reduction and regulatory compliance.

  • Build confidence in ISO 45001 implementation and audit preparation
  • Strengthen decision-making with LTIR/DART data and dashboards
  • Balance safety goals with operational priorities using Hierarchy of Controls
  • Enhance leadership credibility through credible compliance documentation
  • Achieve compliance readiness for OSHA and regulatory inspections
  • Position yourself as an OSH expert with ISO 45001 and JHA skills
  • Expand expertise in digital safety tools and AI incident monitoring

Organizations that embed OSH excellence into daily operations can reduce costs, mitigate risks, and strengthen their competitive position through credible compliance and evidence-based safety management.

  • Reduce incident-related costs and insurance liabilities
  • Mitigate regulatory fines through proactive compliance
  • Strengthen audit readiness with documented safety systems
  • Improve employee trust through transparent safety reporting
  • Enhance competitive positioning with ISO 45001 certification
  • Accelerate incident resolution using root cause analysis
  • Build a resilient safety culture with measurable KPIs
