He is a professional and experienced Researcher and Development consultant. He has worked for Girls Not Brides Global under the Ending Child Marriage Global Campaign, United Nations Population Agency  (UNFPA), UN women under the Spotlight Initiative, Plan International, Every Child International UK,

Weston is the founder and executive member for the Centre for Climate and Health Policy Actions (CHEPA) rebranding from Centre for Community and Youth Development (CCYD Malawi) with 13 years of implementing comprehensive SRHR in Malawi and SADC Countries championing integration of climate change into health actions and policies for climate resilient health systems.

CHEPA is currently the of host ACHA Africa Regional Offices in Lilongwe, Malawi for Southern Africa region.He has expertise in grant writing and management with over 18 years and successfully secured funding from local and international donors and development partners including HIVOs Foundation, Comic Relief UK with FCDO, USAID, the EU, the Kingdom of Netherlands, Norway, UNFPA, Government of Canada, Plan International, UNCEF, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Under the Malawi Electoral Support Programme (MESP)
